0G Introduces “Compute Finance” Framework for AI Infrastructure
0G has introduced a “Compute Finance” framework designed to give users financial exposure to AI-compute capacity. The model aims to transform compute from a purely technical resource into an asset that users can hold, earn from and eventually use within related applications.
Ascend Product Already Live
The framework’s Ascend liquid-staking product is already available. Liquid staking generally allows users to retain a transferable representation of staked assets while those assets remain committed to an underlying network or service.
Under 0G’s broader approach, Ascend forms part of an ecosystem focused on connecting digital assets with access to AI infrastructure.
iAI Asset Scheduled for September 29
0G also plans to launch iAI, an asset focused on compute. The launch is scheduled for September 29, although the available announcement did not specify the year or provide additional details on the asset’s distribution or utility.
The company said the framework is intended to let users hold and earn claims linked to AI-compute capacity, with the potential to spend those claims in the future. The initiative reflects growing efforts across the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors to create market-based models for funding and accessing artificial intelligence infrastructure.
