XRP Ledger Launches AI Agent Payments via Virtuals and t54

Virtuals Protocol and t54 said they are bringing “agent commerce” to the XRP Ledger (XRPL), enabling autonomous AI agents to transact natively using escrowed jobs, evaluator-based verification, and programmable settlement. The initiative was shared through coordinated social posts from Virtuals, t54, and RippleX rather than a standalone press release.

Bringing Agent Commerce to the XRP Ledger

The collaboration aims to let software agents initiate, verify, and settle tasks directly on XRPL, a public blockchain known for low-cost, fast finality payments. RippleX, the developer arm that supports the XRPL ecosystem, amplified the announcement on social channels.
