Ethereum-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) ended a five-day run of daily inflows, while Bitcoin ETFs recorded a second straight day of outflows. Despite the short-term reversal, both categories notched a third consecutive week of net inflows.
Daily Flows Turn Negative
Daily flow data showed Ethereum ETFs snapping a five-session streak of net capital additions. Bitcoin ETFs also posted a second day of redemptions, underscoring softer near-term demand across the two largest crypto asset classes.
Weekly Momentum Remains Positive
On a weekly basis, however, both Ethereum and Bitcoin ETFs extended their net inflow streaks to three weeks. The continued positive weekly totals indicate that, even with intermittent outflows, investor interest has remained resilient over a longer horizon.
Why ETF Flows Matter
ETF flows are closely watched as a gauge of market sentiment and liquidity. Inflows typically suggest fresh capital entering the market via regulated vehicles, while outflows can signal profit-taking or risk reduction. The divergence between daily and weekly trends highlights the difference between short-term trading dynamics and longer-term allocation decisions.
