MEXC Leads SOL and DOGE Order Book Liquidity at Market Price, CoinGecko Finds
MEXC recorded the highest order book liquidity at the market price for both Solana (SOL) and Dogecoin (DOGE) among eight centralized exchanges analyzed in CoinGecko Research’s 2026 Crypto Liquidity on CEXes Report.
The report assessed liquidity for the five largest non-stablecoin assets by market capitalization—Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), XRP, SOL and DOGE—over a 60-day period from July 6 through September 3, 2026. Order book liquidity measures the volume of buy and sell orders available at different price levels and can influence how efficiently trades are executed.
MEXC Records Highest SOL Liquidity at Market Price
According to CoinGecko, SOL liquidity was more evenly distributed among exchanges in 2026 than in the previous year, even as overall liquidity declined from 2025 levels.
MEXC recorded approximately $934,000 in SOL order book liquidity at the market price, the highest figure among the eight exchanges included in the study. At price levels beyond a range of plus or minus $0.20, however, Bitget and Coinbase recorded greater depth than MEXC.
MEXC Leads DOGE Liquidity Across Wider Price Ranges
MEXC also reported the highest DOGE order book liquidity at the market price, with more than $443,000. Only Binance, MEXC and OKX recorded more than $200,000 at that level, according to the report.
MEXC regained the lead at distances beyond the plus-or-minus $0.0006 range, equivalent to 0.3%, surpassing Binance and Bitget. Its DOGE liquidity then remained relatively stable beyond the 1% interval at approximately $2 million on each side of the order book.
DOGE Liquidity During Market Volatility
CoinGecko also examined DOGE market depth during individual market events. On August 21, MEXC remained among the exchanges with substantial liquidity across the DOGE order book as market depth shifted alongside broader price movements.
The report further observed that traders on MEXC placed larger block orders around key price levels during subsequent DOGE price movements. Deeper order books can help absorb trades with less impact on market prices, although liquidity conditions can change quickly during periods of volatility.
“For retail traders, liquidity is fundamental to market quality. It determines execution efficiency, price stability and the ability to enter or exit positions with confidence,” said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC. “Deep liquidity is therefore central to how MEXC lowers barriers to trading and provides more efficient access to global market opportunities.”
