RealFi Launches RWA Stablecoin Protocol on Cardano Mainnet
RealFi has launched on the Cardano mainnet, moving its real-world asset (RWA) stablecoin protocol from public testing into live operation. The platform is integrated with Lace, Liqwid and SundaeSwap at launch, while an expansion to Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible networks is planned.
Protocol Moves From Testnet to Mainnet
The launch follows a public testnet phase that attracted participation from more than 3,000 verified wallets. RealFi is designed to support stablecoins backed by real-world assets, bringing asset-based financial products to Cardano’s blockchain ecosystem.
The mainnet release enables users to interact with the protocol in a live environment rather than through a testing network. Further details on the assets supporting the stablecoins were not provided in the launch announcement.
Integrations Available at Launch
RealFi has integrated with several Cardano-based applications:
- Lace: A Cardano wallet platform.
- Liqwid: A decentralized lending and borrowing protocol.
- SundaeSwap: A decentralized exchange operating on Cardano.
These integrations are intended to provide access to RealFi’s stablecoin infrastructure across wallet, lending and decentralized exchange applications.
EVM Expansion Planned
RealFi said it plans to expand beyond Cardano to EVM-compatible networks. The company did not provide a specific timeline for the expansion.
