Bitcoin News: Tokenized Stocks Hit $3.6B as Avalanche and Solana Battle

Tokenized Stocks Reach $3.6 Billion as Avalanche and Solana Show Different Growth Trends

Tokenized stocks have grown into a $3.6 billion market spanning 4,555 assets, with recent activity highlighting a divide between institutional capital and retail participation.

Avalanche Leads Recent Market Growth

Over the past seven days, Securitize’s SECZ tokenized stock platform added $132 million in value, making it a leading contributor to the market’s recent expansion. The growth underscores the increasing role of institutional-focused platforms in the tokenized-equities sector.

Tokenized stocks represent digital versions of traditional equities issued or tracked on a blockchain. Depending on the structure, these assets can provide on-chain exposure to stocks while relying on regulated intermediaries and custodial arrangements.

Solana Attracts New Users

While Avalanche has led recent growth in value, Solana has recorded stronger gains in user activity. The contrasting trends suggest that the market is developing along two tracks: larger capital flows through institutional platforms and broader participation from retail users.

The divergence also reflects the different roles blockchain networks can play in tokenized finance. Some platforms are attracting significant asset inflows, while others are expanding their user base and transaction activity.

Market Expands Across Thousands of Assets

With thousands of tokenized stocks now represented across blockchain networks, the sector is moving beyond isolated pilot projects. However, the distribution of value and users remains uneven, with a relatively small number of platforms accounting for much of the recent growth.

Continued expansion will depend on factors including regulatory clarity, access to underlying securities, market liquidity and the ability of platforms to serve both institutional and retail participants.
