Binance has launched “Lite Loan,” a fixed 30-day bitcoin-backed lending product that offers up to 1,000 USDT with no price-triggered liquidation during the initial term. The exchange announced the product on Aug. 4 and is promoting a 0.5% service fee through Sept. 3.
“Lite Loan” Targets Smaller Borrowers
Binance described Lite Loan as a simplified borrowing option designed for smaller loan sizes. The product is available to eligible master-account users, according to the announcement. Borrowers post bitcoin (BTC) as collateral to access a capped amount of tether (USDT), a U.S. dollar–pegged stablecoin issued by Tether.
Key Terms and Promotional Pricing
- Loan type: Bitcoin-backed, fixed 30-day term
- Maximum amount: Up to 1,000 USDT
- Liquidation: No price-triggered liquidation during the initial 30-day period
- Service fee: Promotional 0.5% fee available through Sept. 3

Context
Crypto-backed loans allow users to access liquidity without selling their assets, but they typically carry liquidation risk if collateral values fall. Binance’s Lite Loan removes price-driven liquidations during the first 30 days, positioning the product for retail-sized borrowing while maintaining a fixed-term structure. Further details on loan-to-value parameters, renewal options, and post-term procedures were not included in the initial announcement.
