Transaction-Bundling Feature Faces Activation Delay After Support Threshold Dip
A proposed network feature that would allow users to combine up to eight transactions has been delayed after support briefly fell below the required threshold. The decline restarted the feature’s two-week activation period.
Feature Requires 80% Support
The feature is designed to bundle as many as eight transactions into a single operation, including transfers involving both digital assets and payments. This could simplify multi-step transactions by grouping them together.
Activation requires at least 80% support across the network. Although the proposal had reached the required level, a brief drop below the threshold reset the activation clock.
Two-Week Activation Period Restarts
With the support level falling below 80%, the network must now complete a new two-week period above the threshold before the feature can be activated.
The delay reflects the network’s activation process, which is designed to confirm sustained support before introducing protocol changes.
